What has happened and will happen on the Project 7²

• Nov. 26 - Dec. 1, 2009: DT4 Identity SA and ZugVoegel were exhibitied at Winter Fest in Hiroshima City University.
• Nov. 17, 2009: New version DT1 1.8.2 was released. It got runnable on MacOS 10.6 Snow Leopard.
• Oct. 28, 2009: We were involved in a project of 50th anniversary of NDT as a computer based projection for Jiří Kylián's new piece entitled Mémoires d'Oubliettes.
• Aug. 3-6, 2009: We performed a demo of DT4 Identity SA in Real Time Demos in Computer Animation Festival in SIGGRAPH 2009 in New Orleans.
• May 3, 2009: Our extra project for a projection effect was involved in Jiří Kylián's newest piece, Zugvögel, premiered in the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, Germany. We released the software, ZugVoegel 1.0.
• Apr. 3, 2009: New version DT4 1.7.2 was released. The sound quality was improved. More than one sound files and directories got selectable for the source of sampled sounds. A new variable parameter was added for the volume of sampled sounds. A new sound type named sequential playback was introduced.
• Mar. 14, 2009: New version DT4 1.7.1 was released. The redering algorithm improved for smoother animation. A new variable parameter was added for the scale of space. New sound effects for sampled sounds and remixing were introduced.
• Mar. 7, 2009: Jiří Kylián's Gods and Dogs was nominated for the Best Production of the Year, for Zwanen 2009 in the Netherlands.
• Feb. 14, 2009: New version DT4 1.7 was released. The arrangement of GUI elements in the parameter panel was changed. New variable parameters were added for exclusive area size for each agent, color and opacity of shadow, color of strokes for man shapes, and velocity effect for curves, branches, and loops. A tweeting agent and its neighbors got magnified proportionally to the loudness of the sound it generates. Recording functionality was improved for smooth run in Leopard. GUI and memory management for loading sampled sound data was improved for long tunes.
• Jan. 17, 2009: New version DT4 1.6.4 was released. A new drawing method named loops was added. A new option to draw frame strokes for human shapes was added. Bugs of sound synthesis for PPC machine were fixed.
• Jan. 10, 2009: New version DT1 1.8b1 was released. The animation rendering got running in an independent thread separated from the main thread. It runs smoothly even in case the camera is slow. A bug of full-screen mode for a wide display was fixed.
• Dec. 15-18, 2008: We presented Identity SA 1.6 and exhibit a new installation in Generative Art Conference in Milan, Italy.
• Dec. 13, 2008: New version DT4 1.6.3 was released. A new method for music track assignment was added. Tracks are selected according to the horizonral position of tweeting agents in this mode.
• Nov. 13, 2008: Our new softwares named "iso tracker" and "DT5" were used for a stage effect in Gods and Dogs chreographed by Jiří Kylián, that was premiered by Netherlands Dance Theater II in Lucent Dance Theater, the Hague, the Netherlands.
• Sep. 5, 2008: New version DT4 1.6.2 was released. Some bugs on sound synthesis were fixed. Two new shapes called balls and man shapes were added in drawing styles for agents. The branches style got affected by roundness parameter.
• Aug. 23, 2008: New version DT4 1.6.1 was released. Some bugs on reflection color and movie recording were fixed. A new feature was added to make effect sounds as beats by restricting the initiation timing.
• Aug. 13, 2008: New version DT4 1.6 was released. A new sound effect named "Remixing" was implemented.
• Apr. 11, 2008: New version DT4 1.5 was released. The window size and the number of agents are automatically adjusted to the performance of the computer. A script to change the parameters at random runs in default.
• Mar. 4, 2008: New version DT4 1.4 was released.
• Feb. 21, 2008: New version DT1 1.7.1 was released. The new shape of agent rendered by image icon was introduced.
• Feb. 7, 2008: Identity SA was employed for a stage effect in the new piece Vanishing Twin - unfinished works choreographed by Jiří Kylián at Netherlands Dance Theatre in The Hague. The world premiere was very successfully finished.
• Jan. 20, 2008: Tatsuo joined Demo Party "Media Explosion!!" at NTT ICC in Tokyo.
• Dec. 25, 2007: New version DT4 1.3.1 was released. New visual effects of magnification and rotation for afterimage were implemented.
• Dec. 12-14, 2007: We presented Identity SA in Generative Art Conference in Milan, Italy.
• Nov. 27, 2007: New version DT4 1.2 was released. Sampled sounds prerecorded in AIFF files got applicable additionally to synthesized sounds.
• Oct. 15, 2007: New version DT4 1.1 was released.
• Oct. 14, 2007: Our demo videos of MediaFlies, Flocking Messengers, and Identity SA were uploaded on YouTube.
• Oct. 11- Nov. 3, 2007: Flocking Orchestra was exhibited in VELOCITY Festival of Digital Culture in a suburb side of Lancaster, England.
• Oct. 7-8, 2007: Identity SA was exhibited in Soka University Campus Festival. Thank everyone who visited our site.

• Both Flocking Messengers and MediaFlies were exhibited in ArtEscapes in Valencia, Spain from April 11th to May 18st, 2007.
• Flocking Messengers was exhibited in the Telefónica booth of ARCO '07 (XXVI Feria Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo) in IFEMA, Madrid, Spain as one of the awarded works of Vida 9.0 from 14th to 19th in February, 2007.
• Dec. 22, 2006: MediaFlies won Excellence Prize in Japan Media Arts Festival! It will be exhibited in Ebisu, Tokyo from Feburary 24 to March 4.
• We presented Flocking Messengers and MediaFlies in Generative Art Conference in 14-16 December, 2006 in Milan, Italy.
• Nov. 24, 2006: Flocking Messengers has won honorary mention in Vida 9.0! It will be on TV in some countries of Spanish and Portuguese.
