List of Entries

The possible operations on the window of entries' list are as follows.
  1. Typein: For the items Src., Application, Context, Command, min, and max, you can type in a string after double click to change the values. If you click a checkbox of Enabled, it enables or disables the entry. Knob/Key cannot be input directly. Use Set Knob/Key button or Entry Editor to change it.
  2. Add and remove: The buttons of + and - at the left bottom corner of the window are to add and to remove an entry respectively. One entry is added at the bottom of the list if you click the + button. The initial values of newly added entry are the same as in the entry of the bottom, except the knob/key is the next one of the original. The selected entry is removed if you click - button. You can do the same operations by click the menu items of "add" and "remove" in "Entry" menu of the menu bar.
  3. Set Knob/Key: This is a toggle button that you can switch on and off by one click. When you operate a knob and a key of the MIDI device during this button is on, the Knob/Key item in the selected entry is changed to the one you operated. If this button is off and there is a entry including the key or knob you operated, the script in the entry is excuted. You can switch the state of this button by "Set Knob/Key" item in "Entry" menu of the menu bar.
  4. Launch Application: Launches the application in the selected entry. If the application is already running, it is activated.
  5. Show Dictionary: Displays the script terminology of the application in the selected entry using Script Editor.
  6. Compile: Builds up the script and compiles it. The script is automatically built up and compiled when an effective key and knob are operated, but this button may useful to check the syntax error of the script.
  7. Optional Script: Opens a text editor to input and edit the optional scripts.
  8. Test Slider: Instead of the key and knob of MIDI devices, you can execute a script in the selected entry by operating the slider at the right bottom corner of the window.
  9. Save and Open: You can save the list of entries shown in a window into a disk file by "Save" and "Save As ..." items of "File" menu in the menu bar. When you open more than one windows for entry lists, only the list in the front most window is effective, and the others are ignored.
  10. Print: You can print the optional script and the list of entries by "Print" item of "File" menu in the menu bar. It is in a form of table where the cell's height is expanded so as to show all of lines in command script for each entry.
