Score window
A score window is for collecting and arranging individual scores bred
in the field windows to build up a longer tune.
Playing music

The three buttons at the third to fifth counting from the left side
at the top of a score window are to control play of the music.

Clicking the third button of a right faced triangle
starts playing music.

Play is done on all of non empty bars from top left to bottom right.
If there is a primary selected bar,
play starts from the selected bar instead of the top left bar.

Clicking the forth button with black square
stops playing.
-
Clicking the fifth button with two vertical black rectangles
also
stops playing. By clicking it again, play restarts from the bar that was
played at the previous click.

The right most two buttons with
+
and -
signs
in a magnifying glass are to change the size of score's view.
Other than the same size of field window,
it is possible to be displayed in either its half or quarter size.

is to magnify it in double of the current size.
is to magnify it in half of the current size.
Editing score

By clicking a bar on the window, you can select it as the object for editing.
Selection is canceled if you click it again.

There are two types of selection, primary and secondary.
The left two buttons at the top of a score window are to change the mode
of selection. The first button counting from the left side with a hand icon
is to change the mode to be the primary selection.
The second button with a white arrow
is to change it to the secondary selection.

Primary selection mode

The primary selected bar is surrounded by moving dashed lines.

There can be only one bar primary selected. If you click another bar,
the previous selection is canceled before newly clicked bar is selected.

Pressing an arrow key changes selected bar to the upper, lower, left or right
neighbor. If you press the right arrow key, for example, the current selection
is canceled and the bar of the right neighbor is newly selected.

Secondary selection mode
-
The secondary selected bars are represented by gray background
instead of white.

You can select any number of bars. Select all
item in the edit menu selects or deselects all of bars in
the top score window.

You can select and deselect bars by indicating a rectangle with
press, drag & release.

By cut, copy & paste operations, you can
copy the genome into another bar of any score window
and a individual of any field window.

You can change a various options for each bar by operating
player dialog and part option dialog.

Using the sub menu of Score edit
in edit menu,
you can change the key of notes, shift a series of bars, and expand and
shrink the space of score. The six buttons from the sixth to the eleventh at the top of
the window correspond to each o these editing operation.

brings up the notes in
secondary selected bars in a score window
into two degrees above the original ones.

brings down the notes in
secondary selected bars in a score window
into two degrees below the original ones.

shifts a series of bars from the
primary selected bar to the
end of score window to left. The notes in the bar at just front of selected
bar will be lost.

shifts a series of bars from the
primary selected bar to the
end of score window to right. The notes in the bar at the tail of score
space will be lost.

shrinks the space of score by eliminating the bottom row.
-
expands the space of score below by one row, four bars.

By drag & drop operations, you can
copy the genome into another bar of any field and score window.
With pressing an option key during drag & drop operation, you
can copy only one part in the bar.
